The Catholic Church in the United States is making marriage a priority, with a multi-year Pastoral Initiative to explore what sacramental married life means for the Church and for society. ACR's "Marriage Moment" features Commentator Susan Hines-Brigger, Assistant Managing Editor of St. Anthony Messenger. Susan writes  the "Faith-Filled Family" column for the magazine. She and her husband Mark have been married for 15 years, and have four children, with infant Kacey born in July. Susan’s topic: "Don't Forget to Laugh."

The "Cristo Rey" concept of Catholic high-school education was developed in the mid-'90s in the Chicago area. In this unique model, students combine workplace experience with classroom eduction. John Feister's guest is Jesuit Father John P. Foley. He served as the first president of Cristo Rey Jesuit High School in Chicago from 1996-2004. He is currently the Executive Chairman of the Cristo Rey Network. Father Foley talks about how the Cristo Rey movement contributes to the goals of Catholic education.
