Exploring Our Faith Exploring Our Faith
As a reflection on the Beatitude, “Blessed are the peacemakers,” John Feister's guest is Rev. John Heagle. Since 1985 he has served as licensed psychotherapist and co-director of Therapy and Renewal Associates (TARA), a counseling and consultation resource in the Pacific Northwest. He also teaches courses in the graduate School of Theology and Ministry at Seattle University. He is a frequent presenter at conferences and retreats, and is engaged in renewal ministry among clergy, career ministers, and other religious groups. He is author of seven books on spirituality, ministry, and human relationships, most recently, Justice Rising: The Emerging Biblical Vision, published in 2010 by Orbis. He spoke with John about Jesus’ challenge to peacemaking.
