John Feister’s guest is Andrew Lyke, African American Community Outreach Coordinator for Family Bridges, a local coalition of the Healthy Marriage Initiative, and co-host of their monthly radio program Catholic Families Today. He and his wife Terri were part of our “Marriage Moment” segment a few years back. The Lykes have been leaders in Christian marriage preparation, education and enrichment since 1982, through retreats, workshops, seminars, and keynote addresses on marriage and family issues to national church, community and business audiences. They also are founders of Arusi Network, a not-for-profit that educates African Americans on the skills and benefits of Christian marriage. Andrew spoke with John about how the Church can and does support the vocation of marriage.
