Exploring Our Faith Exploring Our Faith
John’s guest on today’s “Exploring Our Faith,” is Franciscan Father Tom Richstatter. He has served as Professor of Liturgy and Sacramental Theology at Saint Meinrad School of Theology since 1984. Fr. Richstatter is a member of the Canon Law Society of America, the North American Academy of Liturgy, the Catholic Academy of Liturgy, the Societas Liturgica, and the American Franciscan Liturgical Commission. He holds an advanced degree in liturgy from the Institut Catholique, Paris, France, and has published over one hundred books and articles, mostly recently “The Paschal Mystery: God’s Wonderful Plan,” the March 2012 issue of Catholic Update. His most recent book is The Mass: A Guided Tour, available from Franciscan Media. Fr. Richstatter also wrote and appeared in the teaching segments of 12 Catholic Update Videos, many available on YouTube. In his interview with John, he answers the question, “What is the Paschal Mystery, this “mystery of faith” at the heart of the Eucharistic celebration?”
