Barbara Beckwith "Minute Meditations" voice talent Barbara Beckwith has been on the staff of St. Anthony Messenger magazinefor 34 years, first as an assistant editor, then since 1982 as managing editor.  She is the author of Joan of Arc: God’s Warrior: A Seven-day Retreat, published by St. Anthony Messenger Press. Reading “Minute Meditations” is the first time she’s ever used her voice instead of her pen to communicate professionally.

Sharon Cross "Ask a Franciscan" segment producer and voice talent; "Minute Meditations" and "Exploring Our Faith" segment producer Sharon Cross was educated by Ursuline Sisters in high school and by the Jesuits at Fordham University in New York. She also has studied liturgy and scripture at the Athenaeum of Ohio. Sharon has been with St. Anthony Messenger Press since 1997, and she brings over 20 years of experience with the RCIA process at her parish to her responsibilities with American Catholic Radio. She is also a Benedictine Oblate of Saint Meinrad Archabbey in Indiana.

John Feister "Exploring Our Faith" interviewer for American Catholic Radio John Feister is Director of Periodicals for St. Anthony Messenger Press (SAMP). He has been at SAMP since 1989, first as an assistant editor for St. Anthony Messenger, then also as managing editor for Catholic Update. He brings his journalistic experienceto our radio ministry, interviewing faith-formation experts for “Exploring Our Faith.” Married and the father of three sons, John is a graduate of the University of Dayton and holds master's degrees in humanities and theology from Xavier University, Cincinnati.

Father Greg Friedman, O.F.M. Creative Director for Franciscan Media Production; American Catholic Radio and "Sunday Soundbites" Host; "Ask a Franciscan" parish resource Greg Friedman entered the Franciscan Friars of Cincinnati in 1968 and was ordained a priest in 1976. Since 1978, Father Greg has done media ministry for the Franciscans, primarily through St. Anthony Messenger Press (SAMP). He is Creative Director in SAMP’s Electronic Media Department and serves as host for American Catholic Radio, Sunday Soundbites. He also serves as pastor of an inner-city parish, St. Francis Seraph, in Cincinnati, Ohio. For JourneyFilms of Alexandria, VA, he was associate producer on Thomas Jefferson: A View from the Mountain, seen on PBS and the History Channel. He wrote and directed Assisi Pilgrimage, seen on ABC Television.

Sister Bridget Haase, O.S.U. “Minute Meditation” writer and voice talent Sister Bridget Haase is a member of the Ursuline Sisters of the Roman Union, Central Province. She is coordinator of the Wellness/Spirituality Program at The Boston Home in Dorchester, Massachusetts. Sister Bridget is the author of Well Lived: Stories of Wisdom and Wonder and Well Said: Children’s Words of Wisdom, and co-author with her brother (Father Albert Haase, O.F.M.) of Enkindled: Holy Sprit, Holy Gifts. The latter two books are published by St. Anthony Messenger Press.

Father Hilarion Kistner, O.F.M. American Catholic Radio Scripture consultant and "Ask a Franciscan" Scripture resource Franciscan Father Hilarion Kistner is ACR’s resident biblical scholar. He is heard answering Biblical questions for "Ask a Franciscan." Father Hilarion studied scripture at the Catholic University of America and the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome. He is the editor of Sunday Homily Helps, published by St. Anthony Messenger Press.

Father Dan Kroger, O.F.M. “Ask a Franciscan” Catholic traditions resource Franciscan Father Dan Kroger is the chief executive officer of St. Anthony Messenger Press, directing overall operations, including St. Anthony Messenger, print, electronic and Web resources. Father Dan was a missionary and university professor in the Philippines for many years.

Father Don Miller, O.F.M. “Ask a Franciscan” moral theology resource Franciscan Father Don Miller currently serves as vocation director for the Franciscan Province of St. John the Baptist of Cincinnati, Ohio, the friars who support and sponsor the work of St. Anthony Messenger Press. Previously Father Don was a missionarin the American Southwest, a campus minister and taught on the college level. He holds a degree in psychology and a doctorate in moral theology from the Catholic University of America.

Judy Zarick "Living Faith" segment producer and voice talent; "Marriage Moment" segment producer; producer for Media Production Services Judy Zarick is a native of Indiana. After graduating with a double major in Telecommunications and Spanish, she moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, and worked in corporate video production as editor, producer and director. Her primary jobs are as a wife and as a mother to her four children. She’s also been fortunate enough to have been a part of the SAMP family for the past 15 years, working in both video and radio production, where she has produced music videos, faith-formation programs and the popular Lenten Radio Retreat and Advent Radio Retreat for radio.

Archbishop Daniel E. Pilarczyk Archbishop Daniel E. Pilarczyk, the eighth ordinary of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, is a nationally prominent churchman, educator and author of popular books about Catholic themes. He was born in Dayton, Ohio, on August 12, 1934. After studies at the Pontifical Urban University in Rome, he was ordained a priest on December 20, 1959. His ordination as bishop in 1974 and installation as archbishop in 1982 also were on December 20. In addition to a doctorate in sacred theology from Pontifical Urban University (1961), Archbishop Pilarczyk holds an M.A. in classics from Xavier University in Cincinnati (1965) and a Ph.D. in classics from the University of Cincinnati (1969). Archbishop Pilarczyk has written more than a dozen popular books and many pamphlets and articles. His best selling book is Twelve Tough Issues--And More. His most recent books are When God Speaks and Live Letters.

Ron Riegler Franciscan Media Production engineer Ron Riegler has more than 20 years of experience in all aspects of media. He began in public television in 1982. His role at SAMP is multifaceted. Ron engineers and assembles the weekly American Catholic Radio, and has overseen the production aspects of most of the faith-formation videos that SAMP has produced, as well video projects for our outside production clients. He also is a contractor to many networks in his off time. Active in his parish, Ron has been a music minister for 20 years.

Matt Wielgos Director of Media Production and Executive Producer of American Catholic Radio Matt Wielgos leads the St. Anthony Messenger Press Media Production team. Matt has a wide experience in video production as well as radio. Prior to joining the SAMP family, he produced a top-rated drive-time talk show for a national Catholic radio network. In addition to his work at SAMP on American Catholic Radio, Sunday Soundbites, Lenten Radio Retreat and audiobooks, Matt enjoys life with his wife and six children.
