Franciscan Father Dan Anderson entered the Franciscans in 1968 and was ordained in 1976. After earning an M.A. in Theatre from St. Louis University, he taught high-school speech and theatre for 18 years. He has performed/directed/designed for community and professional theaters in the Cincinnati area for almost 25 years and has been a “voice” at St. Anthony Messenger Press/Franciscan Media since 1987. Father Dan serves as Administrative Assistant to the Provincial Minister of the Cincinnati Franciscans.

Sharon Cross was educated by Ursuline Sisters in high school and by the Jesuits at Fordham University in New York. She also has studied liturgy and scripture at the Athenaeum of Ohio. Sharon has been with Franciscan Media since 1997, and she brings over 20 years of experience with the RCIA process at her parish to her responsibilities with American Catholic Radio. She is also a Benedictine Oblate of Saint Meinrad Archabbey in Indiana.

John Feister is Editor in Chief of St. Anthony Messenger magazine and Periodicals and Fund Raising Team Leader for Franciscan Media. He has been at Franciscan Media since 1989, first as an assistant editor of St. Anthony Messenger, then also as managing editor of Catholic Update. He brings his journalistic experience to our radio ministry, interviewing faith-formation experts for “Called to Worship.” Married and the father of three sons, John is a graduate of the University of Dayton and holds master's degrees in humanities and theology from Xavier University, Cincinnati.

Judy Zarick Judy Zarick
ACR host; "Called to Witness" segment producer and voice talent
Judy Zarick is a native of Indiana. After graduating with a double major in Telecommunications and Spanish, she moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, and worked in corporate video production as editor, producer and director. Her primary jobs are as a wife and as a mother to her four children. She’s also been fortunate enough to have been a part of the Franciscan Media family for the past 20 years, working in both video and radio production, where she has produced music videos, faith-formation programs and the popular Lenten Radio Retreat and Advent Radio Retreat series. Judy was recently named Franciscan Media's Emerging Media Team Leader.

Sister Bridget Haase is a member of the Ursuline Sisters of the Roman Union, Central Province. She is coordinator of the Wellness/Spirituality Program at The Boston Home in Dorchester, Massachusetts. Sister Bridget is the author of Well Lived: Stories of Wisdom and Wonder and Well Said: Children’s Words of Wisdom, and co-author with her brother Franciscan Father Albert Haase of Enkindled: Holy Sprit, Holy Gifts. The latter two books are published by Franciscan Media.

American Catholic Radio Scripture consultant and "Ask a Franciscan" Scripture resource
Franciscan Father Hilarion Kistner is ACR’s resident biblical scholar. He is heard answering Biblical questions for "Ask a Franciscan." Father Hilarion studied scripture at the Catholic University of America and the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome. He is the editor of Sunday Homily Helps, published by Franciscan Media.

Franciscan Father Dan Kroger is the chief executive officer of Franciscan Media, directing overall operations, including St. Anthony Messenger, print, electronic and web resources. Father Dan was a missionary and university professor in the Philippines for many years.

Father Don Miller, O.F.M. Father Don Miller, O.F.M.
“Ask a Franciscan” moral theology resource
Franciscan Father Don Miller currently serves as vocation director for the Franciscan Province of St. John the Baptist of Cincinnati, Ohio, the friars who support and sponsor the work of Franciscan Media. Previously Father Don was a missionary in the American Southwest, a campus minister and college teacher. He holds a degree in psychology and a doctorate in moral theology from the Catholic University of America.

Ron Riegler has more than 30 years of experience in all aspects of media. He began in public television in 1982. His role at Franciscan Media is multifaceted. Ron engineers and assembles the weekly American Catholic Radio, and has overseen the production aspects of most of the faith-formation videos that St. Anthony Messenger Press/Franciscan Media has produced, as well video projects for outside production clients. He also is a contractor to many networks in his off-time. A husband and father of three, Ron has been a parish music minister for 20 years.

Kim Wessendarp Kim Wessendarp
“Saint of the Week” voice talent
Kim Wessendarp is the voice of the female saints heard on the American Catholic Radio feature, "Saint of the Week." After 10 years in professional theatre, Kim took on her favorite role to date—that of wife and mother. When not supporting her family’s musical and theatrical endeavors, Kim enjoys singing with Cincinnati's "Sound Body Jazz Orchestra" and the choir at St. Michael Church in Sharonville, Ohio.

Archbishop Daniel E. Pilarczyk Archbishop Daniel E. Pilarczyk

Archbishop Emeritus Daniel E. Pilarczyk, the eighth ordinary of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, is a nationally prominent churchman, educator and author of popular books about Catholic themes.
He was born in Dayton, Ohio, on August 12, 1934. After studies at the Pontifical Urban University in Rome, he was ordained a priest on December 20, 1959. His ordination as bishop in 1974, and installation as archbishop in 1982, also were on December 20.
In addition to a doctorate in sacred theology from Pontifical Urban University (1961), Archbishop Pilarczyk holds an M.A. in classics from Xavier University of Cincinnati (1965), and a Ph.D. in classics from the University of Cincinnati (1969).
Archbishop Pilarczyk has written more than a dozen popular books and many pamphlets and articles. His best selling book is Twelve Tough Issues--And More. His most recent books are When God Speaks and Live Letters.
