Today's Reading
Ps. 27:1, 4, 13-14
Today’s reflection is based on Psalm 27 which is an oracle of warmth and reassurance. It is concerned with intimacy with the Lord. It’s about living with God.
The psalmist proclaims that his whole happiness consists in dwelling in the house of the Lord, in being with the Lord. The Lord is his light and salvation, his source of security. All he asks is to be with the Lord forever, to gaze on the Lord’s loveliness all the days of his life.
God is generous and is open to being together with all who seek to be with Him.
The Lord offers His eternal company also to me. He opens His home to me, life with the risen Christ forever. How do I respond?
