Today's Reading
Ps. 66:8-9, 16-17, 20

Today’s reflection is based on Psalm 66. It is a song of praise and thanksgiving for God’s creation.

God has given life to our souls. He has protected us from danger and blessed us. He has enabled us to praise Him and to express our needs to Him. He has not refused us His kindness.

God has created the earth to be a joyful place and expects those who dwell in it to share its joyfulness. He invites us to put praise at the tip of our tongues and to be confident that our prayers will be answered.

“Let all the earth cry out to God with joy.” That invitation includes us--during this Easter season and throughout the rest of our time on earth.
