Today's Reading
Ps. 96:1-2, 2-3, 10

Today’s psalm, Psalm 96, calls us all to sing to the Lord and bless His name. It calls for a new song, for fresh expression of thanksgiving for the works of the Lord.

Our praise of the Lord is to be expressed in the midst of all the nations. The whole world is to hear of the glory of God and His wondrous deeds. The Lord has made all the world firm, and governs its peoples with justice.

We live in a wondrous creation. We can never adequately respond to the beauty and brilliance, to the variety and elegance that God has prepared for our enjoyment.

In response God calls us to proclamation, to proclaim in song His marvels to all the nations--starting today.
